Summary

In via precauzionale è stato interdetto al traffico il viadotto. Si è costituito un Tavolo tecnico per gli approfondimenti e individuare soluzioni

This morning, Monday, September 21, the bridge over the Perazzeta canal on the road to the sea, which leads to the access gates to Marina di Alberese, was closed by order of the President. The precautionary measure was taken to assess the safety of the bridge, which had been monitored as part of the regional park authority’s ongoing area inspections.

On September 20, the Park Authority identified a worsening in the structure’s state of deterioration, making the closure necessary. A technical task force, coordinated by the Park Authority, has been set up, and further inspections are currently underway.

The authority’s offices have worked to identify alternative routes to reach Marina di Alberese and access the Park’s trails.

Cycling traffic will be diverted onto the embankment connecting the road over the Ombrone bridge to the gates located in the Vaccareccia area, thus ensuring that visitors travelling through the Park by bicycle can still access Marina di Alberese.

The starting point of the trails will be restored to the Pinottolai area, in Pratini, as was the case until a few years ago. It will therefore be possible to hike trails A1, A2, A3 and A4.

Any further updates will be published on the Maremma Regional Park’s website at https://www.parco-maremma.it and on the Park social media channels.
