A visit in a horse-drawn carriage, accompanied by a naturalist guide, is the most restful option: you look at everything from above, at the right pace, and you can concentrate on the beauty of the places.<\/strong><\/h2><\/div>\n\n\n\n

There are two itineraries proposed, which mostly pass through areas not accessible on foot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first itinerary takes us to the Lasco grove, one of the most beautiful in the Park, full of animals, at the foot of the Uccellina hills and along the edges of a large plain where herds of Maremma cattle graze.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The route, about eight kilometres, takes about an hour and a half and is carried out only between September and May.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second itinerary, which is longer, has Collelungo beach as its destination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The route crosses the Valloni area, a small plain between the Scoglietto canal, now transformed into a swamp full of life all year round, and the rocky cliffs where many birds of prey from the northern reaches of the Uccellina nest. Due to its large pine trees, the herds of Maremma among which you pass and the possibility of spotting wild animals, the Walloons resemble a small Maremma savannah. The arrival is behind the beach dune, where you stop for a swim, and in the evening also for an aperitif with typical products of the company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The route, of around 18 kilometres, takes around three and a half hours including a stop on the beach and is carried out all year round, in the morning or afternoon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both itineraries start from Spergolaia, near Alberese.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
