DESCRIPTION:Senior Fellow of Global Health alla Johns Hopkins University\, Ilaria Capua ha diretto laboratori di ricerca italiani ed internazionali e ha sviluppato il concetto di Salute Circolare. \nMembro della European Academy of Sciences\, è autrice di libri per adulti e bambini ed editorialista del Corriere della Sera.  \nFra le scienziate italiane più autorevoli a livello internazionale\, Ilaria Capua per oltre trent’anni ha diretto gruppi di ricerca in Italia e all’estero dedicandosi alle infezioni virali trasmissibili dagli animali all’uomo e al loro potenziale pandemico. \nNominata Grande Ufficiale Ordine al Merito della Repubblica nel 2012\, dal 2013 al 2016 è stata deputata al Parlamento italiano su invito dell’allora Primo Ministro in carica Mario Monti. \nDal 2016 al 2023 ha diretto il centro di eccellenza “One Health” dell’Università della Florida\, dove ha sviluppato il concetto di Salute Circolare che promuove l’avanzamento della salute come sistema integrato attraverso approcci interdisciplinari. \nÈ inoltre saggista e autrice di libri di grande successo.
