DESCRIPTION:Un percorso da Alberese a Talamone immerso nella vegetazione delle colline del Parco della Maremma.\nPassando per l’abbazia di San Rabano\, Sasso della Signora\, arriveremo all’altana delle Sugherine dalla quale si gode di una vista mozzafiato.\nScenderemo poi a Cala Stato del Cervo\, alla spiaggia delle Cannelle per terminare a Cisterna Romana.\n\nPer compiere il percorso lungo circa 20 km  saranno necessarie 9 ore circa. Raccomandiamo pranzo al sacco e acqua a sufficienza. Alle origini del cervello sociale (Il Mulino)\, accompagnandoci in un viaggio affascinante tra gioco\, empatia e comportamenti sociali condivisi da uomini e animali. \nStudiosa di fama internazionale\, autrice di oltre 190 pubblicazioni\, Palagi indaga da anni le dinamiche cognitive e relazionali che uniscono diverse specie. \nUn incontro per scoprire come la risata racconti la nostra evoluzione e i legami che ci avvicinano al mondo animale. \nEvento Gratuito \nPrenotazione obbligatoria: booking@parco-maremma.it \nElisabetta Palagi \nElisabetta Palagi è Professoressa Associata presso il Dipartimento di Biologia dell’Università di Pisa\, dove coordina un gruppo di ricerca attivo sia in natura sia in contesti di cattività. La sua attività scientifica si concentra sul comportamento sociale e sui meccanismi cognitivi che lo sostengono\, con particolare attenzione alle funzioni adattative del gioco\, ai comportamenti sessuali e post-conflittuali\, così come alle capacità empatiche in diverse specie animali\, tra cui bonobo\, scimpanzé e esseri umani. Autrice di oltre 190 pubblicazioni su riviste internazionali\, la sua ricerca abbraccia l’etologia cognitiva\, la sociobiologia e la biologia evolutiva. Per tre anni ha diretto\, insieme a colleghi canadesi e statunitensi\, un gruppo di ricerca internazionale sul comportamento ludico presso l’Università del Tennessee. Nel 2020 ha ricevuto l’Animal Behavior Society Fellowship Award\, un riconoscimento ai suoi contributi significativi nello studio del comportamento animale. Accanto al lavoro scientifico\, Elisabetta è fortemente impegnata nella divulgazione. Ha recentemente pubblicato Perché ridiamo. Alle origini del cervello sociale (ed. Il Mulino) e dedica con passione energie alla formazione delle nuove generazioni di etologi.

DESCRIPTION:L’evento si svolge in due giornate\, così suddivise: \nSabato 8 conferenza al Museo di Storia Naturale ore 17.00\nDomenica 9 novembre\, ore 10.00 \n\nDomenica 9 novembre\, alle ore 10 prosegue M’ammalia\, con un evento sul campo successivo alla conferenza al Museo di Storia Naturale della Maremma.\nAlla ricerca delle tracce dei mustelidi percorriamo un tracciato antichissimo\, in un territorio pieno di colori in autunno che conserva le tracce della sua lunga storia. Il percorso si snoda in una zona del Parco fra la pianura e i boschi della vecchia riserva di caccia sulle colline che è stata sfruttata per secoli da agricoltori e pastori. Adesso si sta naturalizzando\, habitat perfetto per donnole\, tassi e altri piccoli carnivori. \nIl percorso attraversa antichi uliveti\, prima coltivati e poi abbandonati\, dove la natura sta riprendendo spazio. Si sale fino alla Piscina del Prete\, stagno frequentato dai cinghiali\, in un’area un tempo abitata da contadini e pastori e già sfruttata in epoca preistorica per una miniera di cinabro sul colle di Spaccasasso. \nScendendo lungo un’antica strada romana\, il paesaggio si trasforma da uliveti incolti a boschi di lecci e sughere\, fino a raggiungere la pianura con pascoli e allevamenti moderni.  \nRitrovo: Centro visite di Alberese ore 9\,45 \nDifficoltà: bassa \nLunghezza (km): Km 10 – itinerario A8 Cammino Medievale \nDurata: l’evento termina alle ore 13 circa \nBiglietti: 10€ intero\, 5€ ridotto (bambini dai 6 ai 14 e studenti fino a 25 anni). Grosseto)\, si terrà la proiezione gratuita del documentario “Ocean” di David Attenborough\, un racconto affascinante che esplora la meraviglia\, la vitalità e la fragilità dell’oceano\, invitando il pubblico a riflettere sulla necessità di proteggere questo prezioso ecosistema. \nL’iniziativa è organizzata da TEF – Tuscan Environment Foundation\, insieme al Museo di storia naturale della Maremma e al Parco della Maremma\, con l’obiettivo di promuovere la consapevolezza ambientale e il dialogo sulla tutela degli ambienti marini. \nAl termine della proiezione seguirà una tavola rotonda sul tema della conservazione del mare e della biodiversità\, con la partecipazione di Simone Rusci\, presidente del Parco della Maremma\, Lucia Venturi per Legambiente\, Adriano Argenio per WWF Oasi e Francesca Giannini del Parco nazionale Arcipelago Toscano. Partecipa la dott.ssa Letizia Arcangeli \nNel Parco della Maremma è possibile trovare erbe spontanee commestibili come la borragine\, il finocchio selvatico\, la malva e varie specie di cicorie selvatiche… ma si sa\, non è sempre facile accontentare i bambini quando si parla di mangiare! Una passeggiata nel Parco\, di facile approccio\, ci aiuterà a riconoscere alcune erbe spontanee.
